Mind Moves The Mountain

there’s a storm on the rise that you can’t see weathering we got secrets to keep in the eye of the desert wind if you close the book, you and I we were never twins 'cause the sun goes down, but the globe it forever spins trust no blues now a high-pitched sound came down, turning days to night and the laws got burned in a stone with a laser light but we know the time and the sparrow stays in sight we can ride the line with the high beams blazing bright trust no blues I thought by now we’d be laid up and staring at the stars alone but the sun beat down on my face and the scars were shown and the band plays on and on in a monotone but this lonely path is the road that we call our own trust no blues

in the quicksand sinking heard a broke down beat in a lonesome valley dead on my feet I’m a car on fire we’re a torn up town spirits in the trees that’ll shake the ground mind moves the mountain heat won’t retreat mind moves the mountain don’t meet defeat roll through the cold until you got the chills push through the snows roll through the hills when the sun goes down gotta set the sights past all the noise to the house of lights, blue lights mind moves the mountain heat won’t retreat mind moves the mountain don’t meet defeat in the darkest depths I heard secret songs on pins and needles trying to right these wrongs we can make this work until the last sun ray we can make this work if it takes all day mind moves the mountain heat won’t retreat mind moves the mountain don’t meet defeat

spurn the lights that burn churn the cream slow pull the shades drawn everyone’s awake make the ground shake move until the dawn I’ve been in a daze trudging half-speed running through the mud Now I feel the lightning let it run right through my blood I’m the world’s oldest man I’ve been on the move ever since time began standing on the mound plant the flag down telescope is aimed staring at the void watch the asteroid burst into flames cutting through the strath (why?) there’s a path I gotta stomp time is ticking down gotta pull the gold out from the swamp I’m the world’s oldest man I’ve been on the move ever since time began
4.
let’s scale that wall ride across these lands let the dead fruit die wattage in my hands pair of wind-swept goons cross the desert dunes take the hardest breaks shake the darkest moons fighting off these blues keep it marching forth tank is down on E push the van up north broke from the blast in the night I saw ghosts from out the past from the canyon call Hold Fast Roll Let’s Blast Roll trying to navigate a little better another path, another pitfall no horizon in view another back, another brick wall but I do it at whatever cost everything that I could ever want little rubber to the road soothe my soul like chicken broth long days into long nights never thought once to hit pause all I did was hang on tight let loose, pull the rip cord no option of stopping just the ebb & flow there's always work and so it goes Hold Fast Roll Let’s Blast Roll

Lost In Fog 01:36
zoom through the tall trees move to the tunes dance to the dead beat breathe in the fumes grind in the darkness work like a dog lost my direction lost in the fog I’m lost in fog drove off the highway dust in my eye death on the airwaves death in the sky I got to fill this pail before the reservoir goes dry and the dread that’s haunting me starts to intensify I’m lost in fog
6.
I saw a cyclone blown to the heart of the forest I saw the sun go black at the start of the harvest they said the darkness could smash you and burn you to ashes but now my blood runs hot every step of the passage I’m gone lights on in the moonlight we rolled to the soil to sow seeds I felt a fire inside me that’s rising at slow speeds I felt the magnets pull up from under the ocean I’m running 'round powered up by an unknown emotion I’m gone lights on
7.
Gold Rush 02:01
saw gold in those hills fell flat in that mud stuck to those guns rode for ten suns hearts beat without blood I walked in that heat we walked in our sleep Dreamt a dead dream sharpen that beam dive into the deep Saw gold in those hills brought light to those woods made noise in those caves slept on cold stones crossed across zones prayed out to those waves there’s gold in those hills let’s move by the moon we’ve been down before but now we need more tune into that tune saw gold in those hills
8.
DIFM 01:55
this just ain’t the place everybody knows anything that moves powers up and goes everybody’s nightmare standing in the room like a shadow man dragging me down to my doom D.I.F.M. blindingly bright the lights not kind lamp with the desperate that got left behind I would sell my soul for a gust of wind let me out this cage keep these monsters in D.I.F.M.
9.
dead rider ride on hold down the ground night time is broken there’s no ghosts around clowns rise like cream sounds fill the skies fear floats like steam smoke clouds your eyes dead rider don’t die hold up the walls walked on the wires fell off the falls swept into shadows into the black fade into darkness but then one day you’ll be back dead rider ride on cut wire don’t hum these seeds won’t sprout known rider ride on run down the route roll up the coast run through the elms talk to the moonlight patrol the realms fated to wander condemned to drift the smallest pieces they start to shift crawl out the wreckage new future bound love is the message deep underground dead rider ride on
10.
you gotta run, run, run under the gun, gun, gun stay in suspension you gotta think, think, think you gotta dip, dip, dip you gotta sleep and don’t just jump jump jump out in the street, street, street with good intention you gotta to wait, wait, wait you gotta hunt, hunt, hunt you gotta creep unending blaze out in the ash, ash, ash these hammers crash, crash, crash against a mountain one thousand tears, tears, tears you gotta cry, cry, cry out in the dark out in the cold, cold, cold don’t throw your gold, gold, gold into the fountain tonight’s the night, night, night we gotta move, move, move to make a spark unending blaze
11.
hot suns on blaze boys can’t escape these changing gears things taking shape heard drums of death bleed through the walls saw the black of space heard screaming skulls do the always change don’t stay the same do the always change mutate the game do the always change don’t hide away don’t seek the end change up the look change up again ground starts to move charge down the trails I’ll change with you until we’re old and frail do the always change don’t stay the same do the always change mutate the game do the always change
